CLOSED AND JUDGING !!! (Ends November 30th) Hello hello everyone, It's finally time for an event! Some big news first, the Bloomie species can finally move on and begin starting from today! With the website being almost fully complete and all guides ready, there's only a few images missing, but otherwise it's all functional! A sale will also happen sometime this month for MYOs to allow people to get their first ones. These only happen for a limited amount of time (30 minute window) to control the intake of MYO requests that we'll need to cover. Another reverse caption to this awesome story by @JessaMar! The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn’t since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn’t be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky.

I'm a 22 year old, female, from Midwest USA currently studying Graphic Design.

While I mainly used to write Fanfiction on here, I've been a little preoccupied by my own original works to post as often as I used to. I do still write the odd fanfiction here and there, but most of it never goes beyond my hastily written rough draft now. Hopefully someday I'll manage to find time to clean those up and share them.

Hello there! I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed your writing! I ran across your RoTG story Thin Ice while I was just browsing and I am hooked!

I noticed that you haven’t been very active in your writing lately, and that your last chapter of Thin Ice was almost five years ago. I was hoping you were still planning on finishing it and weren’t giving up on it. It’s been a very long time since I found something so well written and that has given me great enjoyment as a bonus to the wonderful story line. I know life gets in the way, so I don’t want to push you; but I was hoping I could give you a little encouragement to keep going with it with the knowledge that it’s still being enjoyed.

Hope that I get to see more of your writing soon! :D (Big Grin)

Haha, yeah, life got in the way big time for me (also, sorry for taking over a year to respond, I just returned to dA). The computer I used to write on got corrupted and lost all my files from that era and I lost motivation. The only pieces I have are a couple paragraphs saved in my st.ash. To be honest, until reading your feedback, I hadn't intended to finish. Mostly out of fear that my writing quality had gone down.

After reading your kind feedback though, I DO want to finish! It'll just take some time for me to figure out where I was going again. I'm also not sure if I'll be able to finish Breaking Ice... but I'll do my best to not leave the story hanging! :D
