Where will you go,
Oh my king,
That I will not follow?
What tempest may rise,
To trial my faith,
And might hold me back,
But where you go,
Oh my king,
I will follow.
To the mountain's heights,
Where skies are wide,
I will come if you will lead.
Or to the edge of the sea,
And beyond,
If that's where you call.
Through peril and haven,
In life and death,
May I always follow you,
Oh you, my king.
Oh my king,
That I will not follow?
/Feel the time creeping...
The madness is seeping.../
What tempest may rise,
To trial my faith,
And might hold me back,
/Beware the golden greed...
Overwhelming every need.../
But where you go,
Oh my king,
I will follow.
/Petty king...
Of whom no voice sings.../
To the mountain's heights,
Where skies are wide,
I will come if you will lead.
/It awaits in the end...
Where death will take your hand.../
Or to the edge of the sea,
And beyond,
If that's where you call.
/Insanity is waiting...
Now will you listen?.../
Through peril and haven,
In life and death,
May I always follow you,
Oh you, my king.

Yes, another Hobbit fanfic, except this time it's poetry!
Once again, I played with the style of it: Italic/normal, is from the dwarves POV and how they will follow their king no matter what; and the bold is "Thorin's POV"/state of mind kind of thing, basically presenting them with reasons for doubt.
Thanks for reading! Hope you guys enjoyed it!
