Tokotas | TCA | Promise of a Lifetime
I have fallen to my knees.
Snow formed gentle piles about the enclosure, the excited yips of the tokotas carrying easily across the frigid expanse. Racing at breakneck speed, Astraea tore into the winter wonderland, ears flattened to her skull, curls plastered back by the wind. The crisp, intoxicating scent of the white wilderness stirred her blood to a frenzy, lungs unable to take in enough air, eyes desperate to see it all, body coming alive in the settings that she had so long been denied. Everything called to be investigated, to be examined, understood, and thus, appreciated for the graceful splendor it carried in its very existence. Zigz
